Entry Three: Is Someone Really Listening?
After eating a light breakfast Cygne had gone back to his room, taking the orb with him. He now sat on his bed, watching the orb roll about on his floor, only now it was only rolling in circles. He sighed weakly, elbows on his knees and his chin resting on the palm of his hand, eyes half lidded as he watched the orb roll around and around and around and around and around and around....
He blinked. Watching the orb was making him sleepy again. He blinked over at the note that he had put on the night table next to his bed, a light frown tilting the corners of his lips downward. Yes, it was true, he had made, while falling asleep, a very important wish. But.... was this orb really the answer to that wish? He sighed weakly, looking back down at the orb.
He blinked again. The orb had stopped rolling, right in front of him in fact. He looked down at it, tilting his head lightly as he watched the petal swirl about inside the silver fog. After a while he reached down, picking up the orb and, after looking at it for a short time, put it down on his pillow. It remained nested in the center of the pillow, and Cynge smiled lightly. Then, getting up, he headed over to his desk. It was time for him to read.

Entry Four: From the Journal of Cygne
Monday, 29 October
Well I have to say that this is something that's never happened to me before. I was awakened this morning by Kazuki and found a rather large crystal orb on my desk, balanced on my books, along with a note. It seems that someone had 'heard my wish' and that this orb is my answer to it. It's an odd little thing; It rolls around on the floor but it never hits anything, and it can balance on the edge of my books without falling down. It's a black orb, with silver cloud-like things in it. There also seems to be a petal inside, just kind of floating around in there, though I really don't see how any of it is supposed to make sense or even be real. But Kazuki and Chul saw it so I guess it must be real. It's sitting on my pillow right now. It's being a good little... whatever it is. Hopefully it will stay there so I can get some work done.
