Background:He was raised only by his mother as his dad had died from overdosing on drugs. He lived in the poor slums of the leaf, and had to go out every day to gather vegetables from the small garden they had. He helped his mom any way he could so that he would not have to face the death of another one of his parents. Unfortunately when he was 12 his mom never awoke from her sleep. Dai was now alone and had thoughts of suicide so that he could be reunited with his family. Fortunately his uncle, a jounin of the leaf, came to take him to the inner leaf village. Here he was raised for two years where he would enroll into the academy at the age of 14.
