How old were you when you first started writing poetry? Do you like to keep your poems to yourself or do you like to share them? Who inspired you to write poetry? Who is your favorite poet?
My answers: I was sixteen years old ... As for sharing my poetry it is pretty much alwayys kept to myself because of the miscommunication that has happened but I do share sometimes ... My inspiration came from my favorite poet/play writer William Shakespeare and it is one of my dreams to write a play which I am slowly doing ...

Ooh... good topic idea. This could go places...
I was about 10, so I've been writing for 4 years.
Do I share...? Sometimes. Sometimes my work too personal to share, even here. Most of my recent stuff is posted here. I actually have to type up some new ones I wrote. I'll probobly get around to that today.
No one really inspired me, actually. I just had all this negitive energy and I needed to get it out somehow. Pen met paper, and something clicked in my head. I've been writing ever since.
Favorite poet... No brainer. Edgar Allen Poe. I adore him. Read his peom in Ligeia, it's one of my favorites.

Well I started when I was 13 / 14 and I think that my main inspiration came from the emotional problems I was having. favorite writer would be LoveCraft, Favorite poet would have been my uncle, Or Poe.

I was 13 when I first started writing, poetry and stories.
I used to be scared of sharing my poetry cuz I was influenced by an ex who cheated on me so most of my first poems were depressing then sped up into a love phase as I met my most recent ex. I was also inspired by my favorite English teacher who died October 2007
I love sharing most of my poetry. My favorite poet is "Claude McKay" and "William Shakespeare".

I started writing one liners at 10. My first real time wasn't until 12. I keep 'em in an online journal but won't share with someone I know face to face. My inspiration was the stories my parents would make up for me before bed. My favorite writer is Stephenie Meyer. (even if she only writes books. :p)
