I just did a serious spiritual housecleaning for the first time. I got rid of all the fantasy related books, astrology guides, Dungeons & Dragons stuffs, and many questionable magazines. I admit it had been a very painful ordeal, cuz those things cost me a lot of money and I was emotionally attached to them.

Well done, friend. That is very good and brave of you. It may have been hard at the time, but it will be worth it in the long run. Remember that God has the control, not your possessions. I-I'm sorry but, you know the whole throwing the fantasy books out? So what are you reading now? Self-Help manuals and the bible? There is nothing wrong in the least on enjoying a bit of fantasy and some role playing games. Just because you enjoyed them and played them, it doesn't mean you are condemned to the very depths of Hell. This stuff is for entertainment, and if you let it pollute your faith, your beliefs, then you need to strengthen your mind a bit so you can keep your good faith and enjoy a bit of the "heathen" side to life. Besides, without it, life would be dead boring.

There's nothing wrong with what they did. If it makes them feel stronger in their faith by leaving behind certain worldly items then good for them I say.

Wow! Congratulations! While I do agree with... the other person who said this, there isn't really anything wrong with enjoying a bit of fantasy here and there. However, what you did was amazing! I would never have been able to do that, so... congratulations!

We don't know for sure, but if they said they did, without proof, we kinda' have to beleive. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. Either way, it takes a lot of will power to do something that big XD

Grats and good job to you man, that takes a lot of will and that's a lot to sacrifice for the Lord.
While I do congratulate you, at the same time if fantasy based things are evil, you all might as well stop watching Anime razz .
(And of course, that's probably why you are on Gaia, right? XD)
