I was marking things down for clearence today and I came across a pair of pants that went down to 49 cents. So naturally I bought them (and got 20% employee discount off the 49cents). But they're too small for me (well one co-worker thinks I can squeeze in there because they're stretchy, but I don't think its worth it).
My plan is to paint a design on and sell them. But I'm not quite sure what subject I want to paint. The pants are solid black. The brand is Grace Elementals. The fabric is sorta like thin sweat pants. their pretty plain, elastic waist, straight legs, not sure if they have pockets.
The design would be smallish and focus near the cuffs then possibly partially up one or both legs just near the outside seam and then some in the pocket area.
So any suggestions of subject matter to plop on there?
I'm kinda liking the storybook theme idea, but I'm not sure what story. If I do go with that I'd design my own characters, so they wouldn't be like Disney or anything (Though my minds tainted so I'm sure they'll be at least some similarities.)
