I'm still as sick of my job as ever and now my least favorite co-worker is coming back from maternity leave (and I've made no secret how I feel about that) and we've got a new manager shaking things up.
But I don't want to go hunting for a good new job yet because I'm planning to be out of town for four days over labor day weekend for a convention and then a week later I'll need another eight days off to go to Vegas. That much time off at once can kill a job, I'm not even sure my old job will take to kindly to it.
So my current idea is to have 2 jobs. Stay at the one I'm at now, but only on Monday and Tuesdays (Stick with the markdown team but refuse to do fitting room or work weekends) and then get a second job that's just a small time grocery gig 2-3 days a week the rest of the time. I'll lose little to no money, double my chances of still having at least some work to come back to after Vegas, and if they won't let me have the time off I'll just quit and look for a new good job for when I get back.
Well, that's the plan anyway. We'll see if I go through with it. But I'm not sure I can stand a whole summer in the fitting room picking up the stock teams slack and dealing with horrible horrible customers. Plus my best-at-work friend just gave her notice and nearly everyone who's been there more then 6 months has threatened to quit in the last couple weeks. You'd think management would take a hint.

Personally, I'd start looking for a new full-time job.

After summer I probably will look for a new full time job. But since I'm planning on all that time off right at the end of summer I don't want to get a new job only to risk getting fired or having to quit in just a few short months.
Things might get a little bit better at work though.
Normally when I get mad I get quiet, it takes alot to set me off. But Yesterday I was tired and stressed and they sort of hit a last straw with me and I could feel myself having a freak attack. I managed to stay quiet like usual till my first break, but I was sitting in the break room trying really hard to calm down and one of my supervisors came in. She and I usually joke around and play fight, so she kept picking at me then noticed I was on edge. Before I know it I'm crying, which just pisses me off all the more because I despise crying in front of people.
Then she goes and tells the asst. manager. So I told them a few of the many things that have been ticking me off and I already noticed at least a small change today. Though I also noticed some of my co-workers who knew what happened looking at me funny like I was about to have an episode, so I still spent the morning kinda ticked off that I was getting treated weird. stare
One of my co-workers who was actually in the room with me made me feel alot better though. She cries easy so when I broke down she just totally brushed it off and treated me like normal because she's so used to doing it herself. She even had me laughing a bit before my break was over. Then today we were talking about old pets and she teared up right in front of me then started laughing like, "See what I mean, no big deal."
