Professor Rill is the main character of the story, he's a charismatic an extroverted professor. Mixa is his first and favorite child, and they're very attached to each other. Both have brown hair, tan skin and yellow eyes. Rill is about 40 years old, 5'9'', not quite thin or chubby, with kind of a trickster/feline aura around him Mixa is about 12, 4'10'', sightly chubby and developed for her age, kinda coquettish

ChwipAge: 12 Hair: Straight, covering her right eye most of the time, dark green Eyes: Childish looking, very bright green. Expression: Calm and smiling most of the time. Height: 5'1'' Info: She's the only daughter of Xanen and Shae (who died a couple months after Chwip's birth). She's passionate about mathematics since she was very little, and she's studying at the university since 9 (to enter to that university, only a certain mindset is required, specific knowledge and skills are normally acquired there). She dislikes most people because she considers them 'uninteresting', and is very self-centered. She talks very little, dislikes noises and big open places, she's afraid of large amounts of water, and also eats very little (though she drinks water often). Later in her life, she becomes passionate about religion, but as a child, she doesn't cares much as its something that seems too uncertain for her. She learned to talk when she was almost 5 (she could only say about 3 words before: 'hello', 'daddy' and her first name). Also she's a genius, but as a child that's not so noticeable due to her personality.

RohliAge: Unknown. Hair: Long and white, but varies a lot. Eyes: Any color, often multicolored. Expression: Often worried. Height: 5'4'' Info: She's one of the ancient fairies that rule the world where the Rile, Chwip and the others live. The ancient fairies are said to be a small group that lives in a place of the land is impossible to reach for all humans and minor fairies except for the human rulers, Cylkia and Velkia. Rohli never leaves that place but she can communicate through the dreams of innocent children, that are normally controlled by her (even nightmares).

XanenAge: 49 Hair: Shoulder length, dark red. Eyes: Very bright green. Expression: Serious or melancholic. Height: 6'2'' Info: He was Rile's friend since they were small children, and both entered to the university together, except that Xanen went to the faculty of Linguistics and Literature. Xanen has always been a really mature and calm person, a bit introverted but not really shy, and kinda sensitive. He likes reading a lot, specially realistic fiction, but he also likes other literature genres, theater and visual arts, but dislikes science, specially mathematics. He's very gentle to others but his serious expression sometimes makes people feel uncomfortable. The first spell she learned allowed him to create candy using a staff or certain kinds of tree branches, so his hobby is making sweets. His only girlfriend ever was Shae, whom he met when he was 24 and she was only 12, but he only started being romantically interested in her about eight years later. They got married when he was 36 and she was 24, and had their baby girl one year later. Her death made him an extremely bitter, but he ironically left the university to return to the capital and open a candy store.

Height: 5'8'' Info: She was an extremely shy little girl who decided to go study mathematics at the university to prove herself that she was capable of it, when she was only 12. Even with her personality, she actually made lots of friends (all of them female) at the university when she entered. She was given the choice to work as the assistant of a physicist, and she accepted. That physicist was Rile and that choice made Shae meet Xanen, and she fell deeply in love with him soon after. Shae disliked irresponsibilities and sudden changes, so Rile often made her mad even if she didn't show it. Also Rile's attitude towards her (and women in general) annoyed her until she got used to it. She still thought of Rile as a great and funny friend. Shae had an obsession with jewelry, make-up and tea.

Hair: they changes their hairstyle frequently, it's naturally black but they dye it a lot Eyes: black Expression: Both are mysterious and elegant. Height: 5'3'' Info (both): They're the rulers of the capital city and the only beings that can visit the place where the ancient fairies live. They're very powerful sorceresses and they're always studying in order to become better rulers. They don't live in a castle but only in a small but beautifully decorated house. They love mystery and seem to have something mysterious about themselves too, also they often go adventuring to the forest at night. Both fall in love with Rile. Info (Cylkia): She normally dresses in light colors and only dyes a bit of her black hair in other colors. She's a bit introverted and quite sensitive and honest, but doesn't likes to study (even if she feels that she has to) because she considers it often too difficult so she prefers to design and draw monsters all the time. She charms Rile by making him feel that he used to be similar to her towards studying before becoming deciding to go to the University, and also Rile feels that Cylkia needs him. Info (Velkia): She dresses in dark colors, often opposed to Cylkia's ones, and dyes most of her hair in white or purple. She's quite sociable but doesn't really talks much, she's very dominant and sometimes lies if it seems convenient, but she's still a good person, who studies hard and is always worried of how much Cylkia seems to depend on her (but she loves her sister anyway). She has a sexy attitude, which charms Rile as much as her interesting and powerful personality.

Height: 6'3'' Info: He's a math teacher at the University of Khorben. When he was younger, he wanted to join the military due to nationalistic pride, but he was rejected due to some health problems he had, and his parents convinced him to try the university instead since he was intelligent enough. After some years, he discovered that he really liked it and started to try hard to learn more everyday. As a young man, he was quite shy and normally focused only in one thing at a time, reasons why he never even considered having a girlfriend either when he was studying or after he became a teacher, even if he used to be thin and quite attractive. But he couldn't help falling in love with the widow sister of one of his colleagues. They got married, which made his life a lot happier, and they had one child, Mixa, who didn't resemble him very much.
