The rain pattered gently above, a gentle lull that could be heard from the front room of the clinic. It was at this time that the pair walked through, a man and woman, both standing straight. Shawnie, ran her fingers through her silvery hair, water droplets flicking to the side as her lips twitched. "So this is the place, hm?"

"Yeah. I'm pretty sure." Green eyes flicked back and forth as Darryl twittered his wings a bit before pulling on his jacket. He had heard about this place from Ryan had told him of this place a while back when they were in a library, and he had remembered as he was talking to Shawnie a few weeks back.

Pausing a moment, the fae looked to the front desk before approaching. "We have an appointment"

Selma glanced up at the pair and shrugged her shoulders back. The heavy rain kept away most drop ins and that was just fine with her. She had a brand new romance novel and a long day of not working to kill. So she did not like it when an appointment came in. Her eyes glanced up to them and then rolled.

"Sit down, the doctor will be with you momentarily." Selma said sounded very bored as she just fliped the page of her book. Ovbiously they were dismissed. She had no interest in talking to any of them.

Darryl blinked at the women for a moment before shrugging his shoulders and looking back at Shawnie, who dismissivly sat in one of the chairs. The fae sat beside her and leaned backwards, running his fingers through his hair and twirling his bangs. Pausing a moment, he glanced to Shawnie. "You sure about this? I mean, you d-"

"You've asked me enough times, and my answer's going to be the same" Shawnie was thumbing through a magazine idly. "I wouldn't agree to something if I didn't want it."

The man irked the edge of his mouth a bit and sighed lightly. "Fair enough."

Ronchas did something amazing today, really amazing, something he never expected to happen, he remembered something! He remembered that he had an appointment with a nice little couple. He had the nessicary syringe in his pocket in a nice santized pouch. Ronchas was very careful about germs.

"Hello, Hello!" he called out brightly when they only been sitting for a few minutes. "Wonderful to see you, see you. Please, come with me to my office. I can answer qustions there, answer questions there. Oh I am Dr. Ronchas, it is a pleasure to meet you, meet you."

The man was somewhat bewildering, this 'Dr. Ronchas.' Regardless, the two stood. Darryl parted his lips to speak but he was stopped as Shawnie walked before him, flicking a silvery lock over her shoulder. "Hello, Dr. Ronchas." Her voice was serene with a subtle hint of coldness that always seemed to be there as she made her way towards the doctor. Darryl followed behind her, smiling faintly.

The pair followed the doctor into the office, looking about. This place seemed mostly normal, aside from the people that had worked there; their strange quirks. A hint of doubt was starting to loom over the fae, but as he looked at Shawnie, he felt that she didn't feel the same. The spirit was quick to pick out things that were out of place, and he'd go by her judgement.

As Darryl had thought, Shawnie seemed relatively calm about the entire experience. The place seemed a bit off but, then again, so were many things that she had encountered in her life. She ran her tongue over her lips gently and glanced about before looking back to the peculiar doctor.

The doctor just smiled brightly at the pair. He gestured to the lady to sit down on the patient's table while the husband could sit in the chair right next to it. He found that most people liked to be near their patner if they're looking to have children.

"Well, we have some paperwork for the two of you, two of you." Ronchas said, grabing out the paperwork and handing the right forms to them both. He handed them both pens and turned to pull out a resently unnamed folder as he labeled it and slid it into his file cabnet. Then he turned and smiled at the parents again.

"Do you two have any questions? I'll be glad to answer any questions that you have. Ask, ask!" he encouraged, pulling out the needle and placing it on the table, still in it's wrapping, before he went to wash his hands.

Ronchas liked to stay clean.

Shawnie sat on the patient table and took the paperwork as he offered it, thinking for a moment. Her expression was serious and she started scribbling at the papers a bit. "What are the chances of this whole thing working?" There was a a slight pause "For the inhuman and human?" Arching a brow, she glanced towards the doctor as he washed his hand.

Darryl took the seat beside her, taking the other set of paperwork and filling them out. After a slight pause he rested the side of his head against Shawnie's knee. The spirit in turn gave him a quizzical look. It seemed pretty reversed. Darryl was a bit more femanine than Shawnie at times.

"You alright, Darryl?"

"Hm?" He sat up quickly and gave a sheepish smile. "Yeah. Sorry."

Ronchas smiled at the pair. A nice couple, very nice couple which was good in his opinion. Though really he had very little care on what kind of families got his shot. He liked nice families though disfuntional familes could be good too. It all depended on what he needed when the right time came, ether way he'd let all get his shot.

"Oh hundred percent, hundred percent. I have yet to have a patient come back without getting pregnant. But if it doesn't work then you get a free shot, a free shot, until it does work. We want you two to get some kids, some kids. So no worries, it allows all to have kids, everyone I have met. Everyone." he asured her with a big grin.

Shawnie smiled faintly and nodded, working at the last of the papers and offering them to the Doctor. "Mm. That's good. I looked into other clinics and the percent rate of this working for those not human have been far less." She idly brushed her shoulder, picking at loose threads at the edges of her tank top.

Darryl have a quizzical look. Had Shawnie looked at other clinics besides this one? To be honest, he hadn't thought that she would be that commited. Pausing for a moment, he gave a light shrug and continued working at the papers, leaning against the spirit once more. "Will the shot do anything unusual to the parents? Or the children?" He didn't really look up, as he didn't see the need to. Only finished the papers as Shawnie had and offered them to the doctor, only meeting his gaze then. He was highly protective of his Shawnie, and would be more than upset if something had happened to her, or to their soon-to-be children. The whole thing seemed a bit too good to be true, but he would put his suspicions aside and follow Shawnie's word in the end, as he always had.

Ronchas was use to that question, and that worry. The fear of side effects were great and Ronchas prided himself in having no...negative side effects at all. After all, he never hurt the babies in anyway.

"Technically speaking the main side effect is having two babies instead of one." Ronchas admited. "But your wife won't have any side effects at all, at all." he promised. "The children often have a birthmark, somewhere on their body, and some times even recive powers that nether you nor your wife, nor your wife, have." Ronchas nodded a bit and grinned hapily.

"No harm will come to them, to any of them. No harm. I would never want to hurt a client or their children, or their children."

"We're not married," Shawnie said sternly, her eyes flicking towards the doctor. This was an automatic reaction to whenever anyone thought they were married. As she said so, Darryl flicked his eyes to the side, giving a light sigh. There was a long(and somewhat awkward) pause before Darryl cleared his throat and straightened his posture, no longer leaning against the spirit.

"Fair enough." He murmured lightly, regaining his calm composure. "I don't have anymore questions" Shaking his head, he looked to Shawnie.

"Mm." The spirit paused a bit, thinking. After another moment, she shook her head. "I don't have any either." Her fingers folded and ran over each other on her leg. There was a moment pause as Darryl ran his hand over her fingers gently, pressing his limps into a thin line.

Ronchas looked between the pair at the deliceration that they're not married and shrugged it off. He went to get an alcohol scrub as they were finally ready for the last part. He didn't care much about the conitions of the household. He sold to all species and all couples, all he wanted was the kids

He walked over to Shawnie and took her arm, swabing off the inside of her elbow gently as he gave her what was supose to be a reasuring smile. His touch was soft and gentle, and completely clinical. But the smile held some mad kind of happiness that made it just a little bit creepy. He took the shoot and with one easy motion plunged the needle in and the syrum with it.

"There we are, there we are, all done." he beamed as he wiped the small wound again and bandaged it. "Now all that's left is the biological part, biological part. You will have babies in nine months." he asured them as he steped back. "You can just give your payment to Selma."

Shawnie didn't say anything else, just watching as the doctor injected the syrum into her arm. Blinking up at the doctor, she took note of the creepy smile. This guy didn't seem quite normal, but she knew people who were worse, so she didn't make a big deal of it. She was here for the kids, wasn't she? Er... They? As long as that was what was happening, a creepy doctor wouldn't be that much of a problem.

The woman smiled and stood, standing beside Darryl as he got out of his chair. "Thanks," she said, before hooking her arm around Darryl's and leading him out of the room.

Darryl didn't say anything either, watching Shawnie and the doctor with interest. He didn't notice the creepyness that Shawnie had. That was probably a good thing, as he would have made a big deal of it.

The pair approached the front desk against, and Darryl blinked at the woman as they stood there. Shawnie pulled out her checkbook and pen. "How much will it be again?"

Selma glanced up. As creepy as Ronchas was she cared that much less. She gave them a pitying look for even needing to ask as she sighed, loudly, just to show how badly they were bothering her.

"30k." she said shortly as she looked up at them. "All at once, just leave it here and you can leave."

Scribbling the amount on the check and tearing it out, Shawnie didn't say anything and placed the piece of paper on the desk, leading Darryl away. She didn't say anything to the woman, finding her somewhat... obnoxious.

Darryl on the other hand had to resist the urge to not leave and stay just to annoy the lady, who obviously didn't quite enjoy their presence. He probably would have, if his mind hadn't drifted off to thoughts of the future, thinking about what would come in the next months...
