Digital Malevolence Warrior of Metal Digital Malevolence I met two of the people from Eluveitie, at Peganfest. I met a few other people that day aswell. The weird thing is when Peganfest came to MA it was infused with two other concerts. Together at the same time I went to Peganfest, The New England Metal And Hardcore Fest, and Ministry's last tour. I was more happy about meeting all of UnexpecT and chatting with them for about fifteen to twenty minutes than talking with the two people from Eluveitie. I met the guy in the man-skirt from eluveitie. Very down to earth, nice guy. That's always cool. ....which guy was that? what did he play? Bass Player.

The bass player in my band found his dress so he's going to wear it in our next show.

The first band was like folk/black I couldn't make out what he said the name was and the logo was unreadable. The second Withersoul (Gothic/Death), they were ok, but not something I'd listen to. Third was Twisted Tower Dire (Heavy), who put on a great, but rather short set. Fourth was Daylight Dies (Death), good show but I didn't care for the music. I'm surprised they only played a couple tracks from the newest, but I guess since it was the first in over 17 years, they had to play the classics as well (but they didn't play Ancient Dreams mad ). No complaints at all great show, and much heavier sounding than on the albums.

Paganfest was last night for me and it was amazing. I was really happy with my crowd, it was a great turn out and we got Turisas and Ensiferum to play a couple of encores. Plus Ensiferum played The Trooper. Good stuff.

Well now that PaganFest is over and done with, I can proudly say that I went and had a good time.
Turisas shocked me, to say the least. I was ready to boo them off the stage but they truned out to be a highlight. They got more out of the crowd than Ensiferum did. The 200 people shoving each other back and forth was a good time. But I do say I almost accidentally raped the person in front of me.
I witnessed Terji playing guitar for Elvueitie and quickly made my way over to the opposite side of the venue, for a better view. Tyr was excellent but the crowd seemed to find them boring. Living in a metalcore and basic metal infested area, I didn't expect alot of them to appreciate what was being played. But I was more annoyed by the man and son that stood firm in front of me and the hostile looking fat man to my right. The securely pinned me in my not so hot spot. When I was square in the middle front only moments before. Freaking Merch shop and lines.
Ensiferum was good, I still have a hearty time mocking Petri. "Do you want some mo-----oar!?"
