I shot a few rolls of film months ago and have yet to get them developed. Maybe I'll do that this week.

I haven't used a film camera in years.
And the last time I did, I was sort of nervous and worried that I was shaking because I couldn't check how it turned out like on a digital. xp

There was a nice quality about photos taken with film though. Most people (including me) don't really know how to use the settings properly on digital cameras (although the same on analog... really >.>) and often the light comes out really harsh.

And I think it's really sad that people often don't print photos anymore because they're all on a computer. It's so nice to actually look through a photo album. And to have all the nice pictures rather than 100 photos that you took in a day of which 2/3 of them were blurred or badly framed or whatever.

Yeah, I love the tactile sensation of photos and books, which is why I like them better than digital prints or e-books.

But old fashioned film development is very expensive. =[

in general i like analog for everything.

if you listen to old recordings, even with scratches, they seem more real than digital CDs.

if you look at a clock and it says 3:44, do you automatically think "oh, it's almost a quarter to four"?

no, not at first. you have to stop and think and process and translate that information

which would have been instantly available to you with an old fashioned analog clock

did you know that jet cockpit instruments have moved back from digital to analog?

it is because pilots react more quickly to displays which they do not have to first process and interpret.

i think with an analogu you are eager to see what they came out as, and it's fun waiting fot them to be developed, but with a digital you can see how it turned out and take many many many shots till you're happy. but there's no real excitement really as you don't have to get them devoloped. i can say that i enjoy digital more so i know i've taken a good picture rather than be unsure. also it's nice to see them on a little screen. well enough of my ramblings...lol
