I got my Mom some perfumed body lotion with matching shower gel. Oh, and I made her a special dinner yesterday despite the fact it threatened to rain all day I managed to get it cooked on the grill without it raining...So, yay me.

i made 3 happy motheres day card
for my mom,my fathers mom, my mothers mom
but it got wet and got dirty
so greeted happy mothers day only

Years ago my mom described this cookie jar that she's always wanted. We were in an antique store and she said she hardly ever sees them and when she does they're always super spendy, like $40+. So a couple months ago I was in an antique/pirate store with some friends and that memory came randomly back to me. Hopped on eBay and there it was, mommy's cookie jar.
I haven't given it to her yet though, she's been in a bad mood so her gifts are going to be belated. I'm hoping tommorrow. We also got her some yard stuff, a rose which is sitting in a wine bottle in my room and will start wilting soon, and we're going to let her pick out some azelea's from a local green house.

We finally gave our mom her gifts. Mine was her favorite. I was so happy, I was worried she was going to pull out out be be like "Oh great, another thing to sit on the counter." She gave me a dirty look when I handed her the bag because it was so big and she hates it when I buy her things, but soon as she pulled it out her eyes got all big and she was like "OOOH! I always wanted one of these!" xd
