I think that La Veuve Zin, and GoatShow are the ones I see most often in the abortion debate trenches. And they do a great job with fighting the good fight. Beware the Jabberwock is one of their most formidable fighters, because she's got every pro-life answer... But she doesn't debate them that much anymore. I've also seen you before (hence why I invited you. XD). But I think that all of us have had our strong moments, some of us are just frustrated with the lack of respect sometimes.

I only go there when I'm in the mood, but when I do, I clear the thread, because they run out of their stock answers. I also elicit a certain level of respect (mind you I say certain) because I manage to get some of them to think about why I disagree with them, and maybe understand that we're not teh ebil liferz. I think the ones of us who don't fit the typical lifer mold (christian white males) can fight them better, because they can't play that card and say that what we say automatically doesn't count. That annoys me.

Lymelady said to me the other day "You managed to piss them off by having your own opinions." And that's what we all can do~!

Yeah, well, just because I've already decided to stop shortening my lifespan with debating... :XP: It's worse than cigarettes! Both for addictive quality, and number of deaths caused. o.o

See? Smoking's so bad for you, it makes you think that tasting an oak tree would be a good idea! And then makes you think it tastes good. xd

It's impossible for me to only list a few people, because everyone has different styles and different things I admire about them. Beware is one of the best debaters I've seen, and she's a great leader. Mcphee and sachiko have guts. They were both in the pro-choice guild and got ridiculed afterwards, but they both faced it down and didn't let it sway them. Sachiko's firm in her convictions while keeping an open mind. McPhee can make people understand his point of view because he's patient and sincere, but he doesn't let anyone sidetrack him (one could say he's got an excellent bullshit detector, and one would be right). I.Am is the same way, and often manages to infuse light-hearted humor into a debate somewhere (and he's damn sexy). Zin picks up on horrible arguments that people sincerely believe and completely kills them to the point where she should have been arrested for murder a long time ago; bloody, gorey, devastating deaths, you almost feel bad for those poor arguments, suffering like that (kind of like this sentence, my 9th grade English teacher would kill me). Ryokomayuka always has something new to contribute to stimulate the debate and get people thinking. Divine and Erasmuses don't take bullshit if they see it; they stay on point in the face of people calling them names that quite frankly aren't fair. Ebbers is the same way, and her passion shines through her posts. Lorysa is very bright and very respectful; she makes intelligent observations in a non-offensive way that makes people listen to her more readily. Cyanna does the same thing, come to think of it, she can solidly back up her position and stick to it very well. I'm probably leaving out people that I've looked at before and gone, "Wow," over something or other.
