I've been working on a new race for the WoD. The Zumvi (Pronounced: Zum-vee). Born from a death caused by a fatal sin and the will to try and correct that sin in death. The Zumvi claim that the first of their kind was Abel, whom God brought back to the realm of the living. He wandered the world, finding worthy mortals who were close to passing and created more like him. They found a village of people who had been untouched by sin. The Zumvi and Abel became the guardians of the village, which soon became a city. The Third City. But soon the Devil came to the Third City, he found the flaws in Abel's seven children, seven deadly flaws. He exploited these and the seven children destroyed the Third City. Abel cursed his children for their greed, their hate, their gluttony, their sloth, their pride, their temper; they were banished from the light of day, they could no longer bask in the beautiful sunlight. They were sent to the night, to live among the children of Caine.
In essence the Zumvi gain their 'disciplines' from which ever Sin is their 'Fatal Sin'. I'm still working out the details but it seems all good to me. Tell me what you think?
