With my daughter, we weren't trying to get pregnant... we weren't even having sex yet. A month before the wedding, foreplay got me pregnant.
With my son, it took six months before I got pregnant after stopping birth control. My pregnancy was a wonderful Christmas surprise last year.
Both me and my brother were conceived on birth control, as well as my husband, one of his sisters, and both of my brothers sons. Birth control isn't too reliable in my family. blaugh

Wow! Lots of fertility in this group, and not much infertility! I tried 2 years with my first, and it didn't happen until I had my tubes flushed. With my second I was unprotected for more than 4 years before it happened on its own. And with the third, about 6 months, so this one was a surprise at how "soon" it happened!

The first time my (now) husband and I had sex together I became pregnant.
Then the first time we had sex after having our son I got pregnant again.
I'm super terrified to even miss my BC by even a day.

5 long years..... >< First OB I went to put me on BC to try to regulate me and that didn't work. Then I didn't go for awhile, just tried on our own. When we finally moved back up north here and got insurance again, I went to a new OB and was put on Clomid for awhile. That was going fine, but after 4 months of being on it, he wanted to do another test that said was expensive. Well I already own the hospital an ungodly amount of money from what my stupid insurance didn't pay, so I didn't make a follow up appointment. I was online and found some drugs that could help boost my husbands fertility and I kept taking mine.
Last week I finally got my BFP :3 heart
