I noticed today that I have a greenish yellow discharge but I didn't smell it(probably should have). I'm already seeing my Gyno on Monday for pain in the general area of my left ovary that has been nagging for a while.

I was reading online and read it could be an STD. Um, how the hell? First off, Mike and I rarely have sex lately(it's become painful for me. Since Aaron was born I feel smaller, you know?)and if we do, it's only with eachother.

So I'm really confused and worried. And angry. I just wanna smack Mike because this has to be his fault...well, it probably isn't but I'm just so mad!

Current medications:
Depakote
Effexor
Microgestin(birth control)

I don't think any of these are the cause but I'm listing them just in case.

Yeah, that does sound like an STD or other infection. It's a good thing you have an ob-gyn appointment coming up soon.

It might not be your partner's fault. It could be a non-sexually transmitted infection.

It could also be an STD that one of you got a while ago that just didn't show any symptoms until now. It's very common to have an STD without showing any symptoms.

It's also possible that your partner cheated, but that's worse case scenario.

I would recommend abstaining from sexual activity until the doctor checks it out. Don't forget that if you have an STD or other infection, your partner might have to make a doctor's appointment too even if he isn't showing any signs or symptoms.
