I'm peeved. My second USB mouse, the one I got to replace my first one with the irreparably broken scroller, is on its way out only two months later! Instead of the scroller breaking, the new mouse now reads one click as multiple clicks (up to five), which is damn annoying when trying to post and otherwise function on Gaia. It also doesn't let me highlight. I'm currently using my roommate's flashy USB mouse which works fine but lights up like a strobe light all the livelong day (yes, I just said that).
What I'm really getting at here is whether anyone knows a good brand of USB mouse to buy. As in one that won't deteriorate like this.

I have no idea what a USB mouse is, but that doesn't sound good.

I use Logitech, it works fine for me. At first, it was really fast but I got used to it after awhile. [I hope I'm speaking of the right thing ^^]

USB mouse: Computer mouse for laptop computers that plugs into a USB port and allows you to use a mouse regularly instead of the finger pad or power pointer in the middle of the keyboard.

I've got a simple 2 button + scroll hp. I've probably had it for 3 or more years now and it's still my favorite mouse (I've got a backup for when I lose it, but I don't know what brand that one is). I use it for all my digital painting too, so it gives me pretty good control.
The red light is really bright on it, but as long as you keep it on a surface and don't go flipping it upside down it shouldn't be a problem.
