Yugi wandered about still holding his beloved cards in his hands. So many times in the past he'd faced others and won with the help of Yami to guide him. His mate had vanished for a long while now and Sonance against Kaiba's will decided to spend more time with Duel than anything. Yugi just took things in stride and smiled, though he was sad that things were quiet as he turned his hope to his beloved cards.
Yami awoke within the puzzle feeling Yugi be disheartened letting the light of the ancients surround the young fae. "Yugi? Why are you so down this evening? You do better and appear much more when you smile."
Yugi sighed with a faint smile, "Yami? I don't know... I just don't. All I have are you and my cards." he sighed sitting down looking bleakly out across the grass stretching out in an emerald canvas around him.

It was the magic from that golden puzzle about the fae's neck that Bakura sensed and had his dark eyes looking around for it's source, a source he knew well.
That hair gave away the fae he was looking for and a smirk crept across the thiefs lips fangs peeking out as he made his way out of the woods and into the clearing toward the fae laying on the ground. Quite as a mouse he moved with all the stealth of a long practiced thief.

Yami would of placed his arms around his friend were he living breathing flesh amongst this world. But being a spirit trapped within a puzzle he was really just a pick-me-up when he could be. Sad how fate could change the outlook of things if you let it. "Yugi... you just have to take things in stride. If Jem thought it better to go off elsewhere then let her. There's a lot more in the world then you realize... You..." he paused turning to the presence of another fae whom felt oddly familiar.
Yugi blinked with a confused look upon his face, "I just.. what? Yami?" he perked his ears listening to nothing but the air around him. What was so insistent that it pulled his friend's dialouge to sluggish and halted. Looking with those bright violet orbs he called out, "Who's there?" Maybe if Yami sensed something.. there was a reason.

Ahh, there was very good reason to stop talking and turn in the direction bakura was coming from. Seeing that tri colored head turn he smirked and slowly made himself known white hair stuck up like horns his trench coat hung down behind him a lashing fair tail and blood red eyes it was Yami Bakura, not sweet Ryou Bakura.
"Mmm...out all on your own in the dark of night...how dangerous...." He spoke his voice but a low purr a dark gleam in his eyes and a smirk graced his lips while his ears twitched once as they picked up the minute sounds around them.

Yami faded into Yugi the moment the presence of Bakura had materialized. If anything he could defend the young naive sweet hearted faekat. Yugi meant the world to him making things complicated from time to time. Now settled in his friend's subconscious he averted his eyes toward Bakura speaking rather deeply, "Ah so you crawled out of your crypt this evening have you?" He felt quite cocky at the moment though he could feel Yugi's uneasiness. Honestly it was difficult to forcibly take over another's subconscious, but it was of course a good intention.

Another fae wasn't too far off watching this little scene unfold before him. Yugi being so cute and depressed amused the male to no end wondering just what the little loser did to drive his mate away. On the other hand he himself had lost Mai to the abyss so really it wasn't a laughing matter. For crying out loud his own son was seeing that daughter of his rival. Things couldn't of been more annoying in Seto's life right now.

Night time will do that to you." he laughed still holding that deck of cards in his hands. Turning his head he called over to Seto. "Hey Kaiba.. why not join us for a change?" he smiled with a cute soft expression that lightened his mood. Even Kaiba was feeling down lately he was sure of it.

Bakura purred his words followed by short, slightly insane laughter, as the ring chimed against his chest.
Dark red eyes spotted Kaiba and a smirked formed cross his lips tihs was going to get more interesting he was sure of that, this would be interesting...very interesting.
"Ryou is up here right now." He said pointing to his ring and head. "He's unable to talk to you both right now."

Seto was actually there before they realized looking at Bakura with his usually cocky manner. "Oh gee the gangs all here. Heh Yugi you are so naive and that goes for the retriever as well. I seriously don't know why i hang around you morons." he said looking rather disgusted. He was generally sick of all the lovey dovey garbage Yugi filled into their heads. He rather liked Ryou's cocky attitude though, mutt was perfect for Jou. He definitely wouldn't ever overclass Seto, even if he tried.
Yami spoke silently within Yugi's head trying to be as nonchalantly as he could about it. "Yugi that's not Ryou. I wanted you to not feel threatened by this but i feel i have no choice. Don't let him intimidate you." The spirit settled with his arms around Yugi peering over at the group in his ghost like fashion.They couldn't see him but he knew that he could be a bit of a crutch if the young faekat needed a little confidence. Things were definitely looking like they could turn bad right now.

Ryou would nevah call me that." Hearing Seto speak, he caught the name that he was called. He growled angrily to himself, very annoyed. It was one thing to be called names by Bakura, but being called names by Seto was a different story. "I ain't no dog, Kaiba!"

He didn't have a mate and hadn't a plan on ever having one and having such a weakness, it wasn't in the thief to leave himself open to someone, why would he? Though he did have a daughter he never saw her, again a weakness that he wouldn't let near him or care for, and anyway no one would figure the fae his.

Anzu: A brown haired female walked in from behind them, having heard part of the conversation she seemed a little irritated at the moment. She made her way to stand behind Yugi.
"I swear Jounouchi you can be so insensitive of people's feelings at times. Now's not the time to be fighting amongst each other."
She flipped her hair back to straighten it and smiled down at Yugi.
"Hey Yugi, glad to see you're doing well."

Kaiba would of been fine without Yugi's senseless yammering and the retriever's reminder of his broken heart. Oh all the damn notions that mutt had to go and pour salt in the wound he wanted closed. Bad enough his son was a hopeless idiot drooling over that pathetic child of Yugi's anyway. "Heh... Mai wanted to leave it was her problem. She couldn't stand I was better than her anyway... Pathetic. I swear if she would of kept her damn mouth shut I wouldn't of gotten in this situation now would I? Thanks for reminding me of my mistake retriever... you might want to consider attaching a leash to that collar next time." Yugi felt Yami's arms around his shoulders and smiled despite the callous words being shot back and forth between his friends. Bakura was more harsh as was Kaiba this evening. I mean I miss Jem and all but if they left then maybe it was better... Right?" he asked trying to seem a bit happy that would help the others. Anzu: leans over and rests her chest on Yugi's back wrappin her arms around his neck. She looked over at Jou with a small scowl, oblivious to the glare on Bakura's eyes aimed her way.
:"You could just ignore him Jounouchi! You only keep making it worse for yourself every time you open your mouth to argue back with them."
She looked down upon Yugi while holding him there.
"Well we always knew Kaiba was a tight a**, so I guess it couldn't be completely helped, but still it'd be better off if the both of you just walked away. Sure he can be a pain in the a**, but even he has to hurt sometimes..just let him be"

Kaiba was fed up with the losers, and Anzu made it all the more a school dance party. "I stand corrected. Now the gangs all here. I'm so overjoyed I could laugh." Though the jokes on Jou's part were amusing Kaiba felt his life could be more stable in the solitary realm of his thoughts. These losers were wasting his time, and he rather hated the fact the mutt with the fluff puff of a mop had brought up Mai in the first place. Besides duel's questions on the where abouts of his mother, Kaiba had litterally healed from her abandonment. Oh how he wished he had a collar to strangle Jou's neck. Woof woof indeed."
