I have mine double pierced because I like it, but I don't like an earful of metal and I don't want to look like an idiot when I'm old. It doesn't hurt much at all, except those first few times when you take it out and you're trying to put a another earing in but you can't find the hole out of your ear so you're poking the end of the earing at your skin through the front hole of your ear. Its pretty nasty business. But all in all, it not bad at all.

I'd have the earing halfway through and spend about a minute moving it around until I found the back hole. Yet another reason I let it heal over.

Yet another reason I let it heal over. Yea, thats what I meant. Wasn't sure how to word it, I guess the whole situation is just awkward. But mine didn't bother me too much. I hardly ever put anything in them though, but they never heal over so whatevs.
