Just exactly where are you supposed to put eyelashes? Does it go under the eye lid? If so how far is it supposed to be? If not how do you accomplish it? I've seen other dolls, but never any with eyelashes IRL.
Could anyone please help me out with this? Maybe this seems easier than I am making it, but I want them to be in the right place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

...Well uh, where are your eyelashes? You paint in the lower lashes usually and insert doll eyelashes in the upper eyelid where people usually have eyelashes, of course. Just pop the eyelash on a small piece of masking tape, insert the tape trough the eyehole in the front of the face, then fasten tape in the inside of the head. *super easy, no glue needed*

Fair enough. I just wasn't completely sure where on the lid they'd be placed.
See, with people the hair grows from the furthest part of the lid outside of the rim. So I though I might need to glue them in on the tip of the rim that way. @____@ I'm a perfectionist, what can I say.
Alright then, thanks for the info. ^___^ That helps a lot.

Usually when I paint a head I do the bottom lashes with the thin brush, starting where the bottom lid is (just barely inside) and follow downwards in a natural motion. It lines the eye a bit as well. For upper lashes I use a small amount of white craft glue and glue just inside the upper lid. I don't reccomend using glue that's very strong, lest you want to take the lashes out and are worried about damaging a custom faceup.
