Thinking of the Egg Sanctuary again, and I've noticed that some hatchlings have way more than enough views to get them to go - they are just waiting for the right time.
You think it would help at all if those hatchlings were removed to make more room...?
Just wondering - I know my some of my hatchlings are waiting for the right time and I wouldn't mind removing them to make room.
-shrugs- Just a little suggestion.
I understand that some people wouldn't want their dragons removed from the list, or that it would take a while to go through all of the hatchlings.. But eh. *whines* But that would actually take effort... lol. And a person's judgement on how many views are needed is different for everyone; and TJ isn't ever going to give out the formula. If anything, we can move those dragons to the bottom of their section, but otherwise, I don't think removing them is necessary. And for the banner: I can do another contest. You can probably add that to the list. And our current banner was made by rakashi11, completely custom made. If you want to edit it, talk to him. But I think he was talking about how the eggs/dragons blacken before switching forms. And about tinyURL... Having multiple sancts can help the word limit problem, but that isn't such a big deal, since there was quite a bit of text in the rules that we removed, and we can and do remove adults, which also helps.

Are we adding subforums soon? I have no way of doing it myself.

can people that didnt join the guild post in the forums? cuz if they can maybe we should stop that cuz maybe ther just here to spam ther eggs

I'm not quite sure where to post this, but, with the Egg Sanctuary filling up, is there anything that us users can do? I want to keep adding my eggs there, since it's been lovely at helping them grow, but I don't want to make a ton of work for the mods or take up space for someone else. sweatdrop So I'm not really sure what I should be doing to make things easier, if anything.

One thing that could help is instead of getting 4 eggs (or more if you breed) at a time, just get 2. It might take you a while to get all the dragons you want since you're only working on 2 eggs at a time, but it will help the sanctuary out a lot if many people did this. We're currently discussing the problem in the crew members' subforum, just give us some time to figure out what we want to do.

Wait, why not just make a new sanc altogether? If chickens keep dropping off because of too many eggs, it makes sense to need more than just 1-2 posts to put all the eggs in. Especially with the new eggs that we know are coming out soon.
Why not just make a whole new thread, reserve the whole front page but don't crop it (eg. "[Reserved for future use]" in every unused post), and then just move all the eggs in there? Sure, it would be a lot of work and about 11 and a half minutes of someone's time to do, but it would also save a lot of headache from the constant dropping of the poor chickens.

Several ideas have been suggested but Loku hasn't decided anything yet. He has a tendency to put things off for quite a while.
Edit: I should mention that as a mod, it is rather annoying if even one breed is in another post. You have to keep going back and forth between the different posts every time you update. It gets old real fast. I'm all the way for having 2 sanctuaries and having them split by breed.

And I don't think stopping them is a good idea. I mean, who isn't here to get their eggs grown?

Even if you personally don't use this guild to grow your eggs, that doesn't mean that no other member is here to do so. >.o
New rule suggestion: No spoilers PLEASE. This goes for methods of getting specials (past, present and future) as well as stages for eggs about to be released. It ruins the puzzle/surprise, and it steals TJ's thunder. It's generally Not Nice.

sorry if this is already part of the suggestions you have on the first post but i really think the guild could use some clean up in the sense that it needs a little organization. there's a lot of misplaced posts and they generally sit around and collect dust when they could have done better in a correct subforum.
i'm not sure how the interworkins of a guild are but i'm assuming mods can move the threads to different ares. I would think a clean up project would be great and an introduction of more subforums and areas on the site so the main forum could be less cluttered with questions and "click my eggs" threads.
