I feel as though I'm cheating on my metal side, through all of this industrial/electronic pop surge.
Whilst I can listen to a metal cd once then change the cd to another band or album, I can listen to industrial or rock over and over again.
(Tyr and Ahab not included)
Which is why yesterday, I bought Gory Blister and Alchemist. Oh by the way, Gory Blister sucks, contrary to my review of them before. It seems I was mislead. mad
Alchemist is epic, though.
So one of you, explain this to me, this traitor feeling I harbor!

I have times that I listen to more non-metal than metal every now and then.

Hey, metal can be pretty demanding on the ears and mind, so it's just fine and understandable to want to take a break for something that's a bit easier listening. 3nodding

The brain is funny. You've exposed your subconcious memory too soo much metal, the sounds are starting to mix inside your subconcious, and therefore never seem, new. Its like as you get older, the grass isn't soo green, or the sky isn't that blue. As you age, your perception ages too, your tastes change, there is absoloutely nothing you can do to control this,(Other than mood altering drugs with side effects such as "Death or worse") It happens, just go with it?
