i've seen many asian version (mostly japanese) of american movies WAY better and scarier pirate
ex: the eye, the grudge , the ring, 1 missed call . . .

I heart Asian Horror Movies
In US, the gross and sadist way of killing make the movie scary-enough. Some people love watching American Horror movies because of those "semi-porn" thingy on the film.
But, Asian Horror movies have story and real horror even without those stuff.

Korean, THAI, and Japanese ones are pretty boss. But there are others like Quarantine that was actually taken from a Spain movie called REC, which was waaaay better than the American version! But yeah, Americans do take a lot of movies from the Japanese, but right now it's a Thai trend, like the Shutter...

Asians make better horror movies because they aren't afraid to think of sick and twisted things.
Americans are afraid of letting that part of themselves out.

American horror movies are the "REFINED" version for adults who can be scared.

there's a great Thailand movie I watched in youtube called: "Shutters."
In the end, it makes complete sense.
