So here was was on my laptop, joint in tow, browsing the threads in my other guild, and I saw this girl's post. It contained a word I deemed inapproproate. Yes, the 'N' Word.
So what did I do? Ask if she might consider another noun?
And she goes all nuts on me.
So I am laughing, because this 15 year old chinese chick is calling me stupid because I am correcting HER grammar. Funny..
So then everyone else got into it. And everyone started to get mad at myself. And I was thinking "Wait, I just suggested something...why the ******** are you people getting so worked up. Light a bowl or two perhaps...?"
It went something like this:

Acting unjustly to someone because of their skin colour isn't fair. You are placing judgement on someone based the usually ridiculous setrotypes we apply to every race. You are penalizing someone based on something they cannot change. I might be white but I certainly do not fit any sterotypes I know that put a bad name to my ethnicity. We cannot change what makes us, we can only embrace it.

And what happened. Mayha started to flip out and defend her reasoning for the use of this abhorrent word like it wouldn't offend someone. And I quote:

Then thing got out of control. I did the easy and painless thing of ignoring most of the 'bashing of Rioku' part.

Perhaps I contemplated the idea that she might have considered this, and then upon realizing the mistake, correct it and thank me for the advice.
