What do you think of this Bag of Win (BoW)?
I see it as a quick way to get rich if you have gaia cash. They are 99 gc ($1) and right now they're selling for 30-33k in the mp. I also see highly sought after items( MC's) raising in price. I see Major deflation in store items as the MP is flooded with things pulled from the BoW.
If you don't have the cash (like me) just wait for the store item flooding to get some great cheap store items. Either wear them or save them until the BoW is dicontinued to make some decent profit.
It is both Good and Bad. High and Low

i got 2 with my GC and from those i got two mythrill bags. i sold the first one on the MP for like 150k and i had to open the second on and got an 80k coin.
i have a feeling the MP is going to be messy for sometime so im just sitting on my gold are now. MCs are going to shoot up where as store items and old EIs are going to fall. i hope this puts a good dent into the 1st gen moon. brcuase i would like one of those

I was discussing the BoW a lot today with my boyfriend. He automatically viewed it as a trigger for older MC inflation, which I have to agree with. But, even though the Bag may indeed make older MC's more expensive, the more recent MC's and valuable items people are now selling to afford the bags will probably decrease a bit in price.
I bought $25 worth of BoW's today, and despite being fully aware of my terrible luck, I opened every last one of them. I totaled my earnings, only to discover that if I had just sold them all in the mp I would have made twice the amount I actually recieved opening them (400k more). Even if I had sold the 2 mythrill bags that I recieved instead of foolishly opening them, I still would have made more gold if I sold all my original bags.
A lot of people are skeptical that the BoW will make too many gaians millionares, but based on my own results, I think the odds are pretty well-balanced. The odds of making a lot of gold by opening the bag are slim, so as a lot gaians make money selling the bag, it will even out a little when the gaians who open the bag normally recieve something worth less than the gold they spent.

BOW = Inflation in a bag.
I haven't bought any but I've had a great deal of fun vending in the chaos they've caused in the MP. There is power in knowing what an item is selling for Right Now.
As I pointed out elsewhere, it's always been possible to buy your way into being a Gaian millionaire. These just make it a bit cheaper to do so. I'm kind of happy I'm running a bit item-heavy right now.

I bought maybe 3...? And a friend gave me one as a gift. I should've just sold them all on marketplace, I didn't even make 1/4 the gold of what I could've made from them if I just sold them and not opened them. XD
(Hopefully I'll learn to forsee "inflation in a bag" in the near future, lol)
And hopefully, the market's craziness will cool down soon. For now, I'm going to wait for the hype to die down, and hopefully have the market deflate back to normal, and just chug away for now making gold via Games and posting, and keep building up a good sized pile of gold.

I don't have any GC left after my spending spree at the beginning of this month so I didn't get to make a lare profit from vending those things. I'm greatly enjoying the price drop in store items. Though I'm wondering if the BoW will increase in value considering they'll be leaving today.

The anti-social cookie purplewiz I have decided that I really like people who are bad at math mrgreen and why would that be? The sheer number of people selling items in the MP way below store resale value.

If they are pulling the BoWs already. Its price will rise as people freak out and buy more. Then I think the price will raise even more when the are gone from the CS. That would be the time to sell them. Also if you are buying store items now is the time! When everything calms down and stabilizes, slowly but your items back in the MP to get major profit.

You're right about the old MC's. They did take a huge spike. I hope they come down soon, because I want a winter rose and G9 laptop!

The amazing thing was watching what items DID take a spike and which ones weren't really affected very much. I think that's really interesting data if people are looking at investing - what items have interest, and which don't.
