Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk

This is a very...interesting book. I recommend this book to anyone who can handle descripted, bloody details.

Haunted is about a group of people who go on a 'writers' get away' for 3 months. They go to make their best work. They use their enviorment to write the story...but they can't write a good story or playwrite with a normal setting. So...they each have their own plans to make them suffer, and they don't tell anyone their plans. Somebody breaks the furnace, another person clogs the toilets, another person cuts the power line to the washing machine. All of them spoil the foods they don't like so they end up with no food. Some people die. They cut off their fingers and toes and cut themselves up and blame it on their 'captors'. They do all this to make it seem like they are suffering...but since everyone has thought to do the same thing they actually do end up suffering. So, if you think you can handle this book, go right ahead, it's actually really good.
