Here's a guide through Cross Our Swords Together's (aka C.O.S.T.) subforums to help new or just confused members to be able to navigate through the guild! This guide will start from the Home Page to the front forum page and then to the subforums according to the order that they've automatically been put in from top to bottom. Role playing forums/subforums are provide in the color of dark red. BUT! Just because there's a guide here doesn't mean that the rules of these subforums are here. You're going to have to go to the forum and/or subforum and read their rules there. Here ya'll are:
Home Page:
Our Home Page is, quite obviously, our Home Page. It has our guild banner, created by Singsaith. Underneath our banner is an introduction and then the guild rules and how to join. Then, below that is C.O.S.T.'s affiliates. On the bottom displays the guild's current moderators, the type of guild it is, when it was made, ect. There's also a bar below that for any donations that a member may want to make.
Front Forum Page:
The Front Forum Page is the place where the general rules for the guild are also posted, along with banners for someone's signature and announcements. Its main purpose is being used for our fantasy role plays.
Subforums:
The Inn: Off Role Playing Talking
The Inn subforum is used for just talking or any suggestions that someone might have for the guild. Basically, it's the guild's subforum specifically for general talking only.
Chamber of Tactics and War: The Crew Members' Private Room
The Chamber is a subforum only for moderators. I'd provide a link for you but you wouldn't be able to get in unless you're a moderator.
Ye Olde Pub: Role Play OoC Threads
This one is another OoC subforum. However, this one is created specifically to be used as an RP's OoC thread and is different from the Inn because, while they're both for OoC, the Inn is for general discussion with everyone while the other acts for OoC threads for RP's.
The Graveyard
The Graveyard is where we put all of the role plays that died. They're kept here for people to simply read, gain inspiration from, or just in case someone wants to try and use it again. The entire thread is merely moved from the main forum or the Paradox into the Graveyard. However, the Graveyard does not contain the guild's earliest role plays because the idea to make the Graveyard wasn't brought up until later times. You may not post in this subforum.
The Hall of Fame
Our Hall is made to honor role plays that have either been completed or have broken past five hundred posts. You may not post in this subforum.
The Paradox
The Paradox is a role playing subforum. It's used for modern or futuristic fantasy role plays. Basically, you can stick just about any kind of an RP you want in here, but it must have an element of fantasy to it.
Rogue's Gallery: Role Playing Character Profiles
Portraits is an optional subforum. It is used so that people may make a thread separate from their role play thread to post up profiles if they so wish. If someone wants to post the profiles in the role play thread that's fine.
