It looked bad from the start but now its super dead, I want to get another strawberry plant. Does anyone have some tips for the care and keeping of strawberries?

My strawberries are already flowering..
Make sure they're in a spot that gets full sun. Make sure they're planted at the correct depth. Plant them so that the crown (where the leaves rise from) is even with the surface of the ground. You don't want it to be too shallow or too deep. Strawberries need regular amounts of water. Don't let them dry out.
That's about all the advice that I have.
The first year you plant them is to establish runners and the plants. You probably won't see much fruit if any. The next year will be when they really produce fruit.

I bought some new plants today, my mother bought me a strawberry pot for easter I planted them in that.

once for a birthday party favor i got a baby cactus. it was so cute. i loved it so much.
too much.
i watered it every day, even though i knew i wasn't supposed to. i just loved to take care of it.
basically it fell apart like a soggy, moldy sponge one day.
i guess overwatering might be a danger. but be sure to water your strawberries lots C:

Toasty Marshmallow once for a birthday party favor i got a baby cactus. it was so cute. i loved it so much.

i watered it every day, even though i knew i wasn't supposed to. i just loved to take care of it.
basically it fell apart like a soggy, moldy sponge one day.
i guess overwatering might be a danger. but be sure to water your strawberries lots C: I killed my cactus too =( His name was Francisco..;_;

Pots of Fruit This lady is trying to do the same thing with strawberries in pots. Sorry for breathing life into this old thread, but I thought i would add something here for future reference.
