I just started reading about chaos magic yesterday.
But I just don't seem to get it.
I've looked it up on several sources...
but...
what is chaos magic?
If anyone knows,
please do share as I would like to understand my reading...

Its basically the belief that nothing is really real. You use components of other religions or spiritual practices but once you begin to believe it is real your no longer a chaos magician. I take the overall nihilistic belief that chaotism does and I apply to to my eclectic paganism, but I do believe that the true constant in the world is energy. And everything else is and isn't really there at the same time.
I probably didn't explain it well enough. Sorry for that.

wow ms_horror you beat me to the punch XD...But technically you all chaos practioners believe in it to be real to some exstent. Basicly they dont let any one belief system stop them making it so they don't have any real boundaries. But then again this is argueable XD

It's really rather interesting not being bound to one way of thinking...I find chaos magic too chaotic for my liking, but I have dabbled in it before.

Recipe for the chaos magic
1.- Get a black cauldron for all it's mystic significance (which is meaningless)
2.- Add 4 gallons of water
3.- Start a fire at midnight right in the middle of the street (may lead to serious injuries due to police violence)
4.- Ad two teaspoons of Raymond Sneyers (1997) "Climate Chaotic Instability: Statistical Determination and Theoretical Background"
5.- Stir until well cooked.
6.- Voila!
You got chaos magic.
Magic does not exist. Learn that well.

wow, choas magic sounds really cool, i'm confused on my religion so it sounds liek something i could get into 3nodding but khestal there is magic, spells, incantations, even potions i myself cast some spells that can be pretty potant so don't say there isn't magic cuz you get a big lash back ok.
