With both cooking and fishing starting to become more useful I thought I might post a quick and easy way to get us Horde started, kind of a quick-leveling how-to. smile I personally do this somewhere between level 5 and 15, just for reference.
For me it always begins with a trip out to Stonebull Lake (next to Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore). They have both a fishing trainer and supplier handy at the village, so learn your apprentice fishing skill, buy a pole, and have at it. You'll be catching a lot of Raw Brilliant Smallfish and Raw Longjaw Mud Snappers (along with a few other odds-n-ends), which is perfect for later on. Once your fishing hits 50, go talk to the trainer again and advance to journeyman fishing, and then back to fishing some more. This whole process will usually take an hour or so.
Now, once your fishing hits 100 or so, go talk to the fishing supplier and buy the recipes for both the smallfish and mud snappers, and then take off for Thunder Bluff and the cooking trainer. There, go ahead and learn your apprentice cooking, then use the Brilliant Smallfish recipe to learn how to make them... and then start cooking! Once you run out of smallfish talk to the cooking trainer for your journeyman training, use the Raw Longjaw Mud Snappers recipe, and then start cooking those.
Having gone through this routine a few times I generally end up with both a cooking and fishing skill around 100 to 120, and the whole process takes (me) about two hours. At that point, you've got your feet wet and can start hunting around for more interesting places to fish, and things to cook!
