Sir Raunchy McTendersoft Strange-1 Cosplays Scary Movie and Epic Movie suck. The Simpsons was pretty good, but I wouldn't call it the funniest ever. The first scary movie, the one the Wayan's brothers directed, was good. All the other ones sucked. After the first, the scary movies sorta started relying on stupidity to make their movies funny. And they failed still.

Of your list, I couldn't say. I never even wanted to see Scary Movie. Epic Movie I've never even heard of. And Simpsons I have just haven't seen yet.
I'm really not into dumbed down comedies. I do love Liar Liar and most things done by Jim Carrey.
But, I would go with a few others.
Some Like it Hot - classic! "Jerry: Oh, you don't understand, Osgood! Ehhhh... I'm a man. Osgood: Well, nobody's perfect."
"Joe: But, you're *not* a girl! You're a *guy*, and, why would a guy wanna marry a guy? Jerry: Security!"
It Happened One Night "Ellie Andrews: I'll stop a car, and I won't use my thumb! Peter Warne: What're you gonna do? Ellie Andrews: It's a system all my own. Car brakes hard Peter Warne: Why didn't you take off all your clothes? You could have stopped forty cars. Ellie Andrews: Well, ooo, I'll remember that when we need forty cars."
also: Arsenic and Old Lace Duck Soup Modern Times The Apartment
Doing a search on IMDB under comedy and including only those rated from 8-10:

Gervais is pretty spotty in general, so I wouldn't be all that shocked.

Out of those three...the Simpson's Movie but as stated before not the funniest. I prefer good old English humour and the occasional American comedy, but with that said Monty Python and the Holy Grail was hilarious. The Naked Gun movies were funny too.
