Sorry for the delay:
Lemme start with where I first heard about it in
WIRED Magazine (March issue). The simple week that player went through left me curious. This
blog wrote up a pretty good explanation and intro to the game.
Joe Hyrkin, the man in charge of Gaia Online's revenues, was on a panel where PMOG was
mentioned. Props, I suppose. PMOG started in
February 2007 and by January 08' had over
100 users. Not too shabby for a pre-mature
invite only game. For those of you who use
twitter, this game's all over it.
I came across a lot of useful free browser only tools (no expensive software required) like
Jamglue,
Streampad,
Wiredness,
Jumpcut,
Aviary, and
Meebo. I was even given a list of sites showing me where the best counter hacking info was and (for those of you who play) guides to every mission on EVE online. Avatar based sites like Gaia were no doubtably mentioned in more than one mission I've taken. Portals to 4chan are non-the-less enjoyable to many players. You're bound to find something useful to you, like
Rehash Clothing or you might just have fun. Sign up and check out your favourite websites, you might be suprised. You might as well if you're using Firefox all day (like I do at work
wink ).
So if anyone's interested here's a good review/guide read through (since mine was kinda lame and boring. I read through it, I know it is):

Feel free to loot the crate I've stashed there and add me as an acquaintance if you want.
