Her hair is like dark brown. I think that's close enough.

Sapphire Waterlilly Her hair is like dark brown. I think that's close enough. not in my opinion, but that's just me. I really think that Alice looks OLD in some of the pictures that I've seen of Ashley, the girl who plays her. Alice is supposed to look forever YOUNG! But oh well, the movie'll be fantastic anyway...*sigh*

FOREVER YOUNG, OH TO BE, FOREVER YOUNG. :O
Anywho. I'm not all that bothered by in anymore. XD Sure, I wanted to see little black spikes on top of her lovely cranium, but I'm not going to sweat it.

yea...i didn't even notice the hair...to be honest i kind of imagined her hair like it is in the movie and it's still really dark anyways...and i thought she was supposed to be like that age-wise...
i really like the cast and stuff...i mean, we could have it so much worse than this...just look at teh traveling pants movie!! such a disaster...
i'm trying not to be real observant of those kinds of details...also i'm just happy that it's a movie to begin with! biggrin
if we try to imagine the movie really exact to the book we will only be letting ourselves down. Movies can never be exactly like the book.

Truthfully, I wish they'd chopped her hair a bit shorter. I mean, she'd just gotten out of the insane asylum, it was recently growing in. It'd be a boy cut, if naught else.

I wish they had cut her hair shorter too, just to stay true to the novel. But I really don't think Ashley can pull off the short hair look..so I guess I'm content

I would of been less mean, if she gave a warning stating how immature and melodramatic she was going to be... stare
