Sato Aoi sketched rather absently in her notebook as the Professor droned on. One might not realize, but quite against what it may seem, she was paying attention to the lecture. Still, that did not mean she was interested in the lesson. She was fairly good at math already, and what the teacher spoke of she had long since learned in one of her cram school sessions Hoshiko had made her attend.
Not to say she wasn't glad to have gone to her cram school, nor Ouran. Quite the contrary; she was happy to have had them both. Her cram schooling had of course helped her learn so quickly and easily, along with Hoshiko and Tsubasa's help in her studying. And well...she had never really expected to attend Ouran in any sort of fantasy she had held. She had heard of the scholarship, but she knew that she wasn't quite that smart, as most Jr High students in the country would try for such an honor.
Her sister become so successful was quite a surprise to most everyone. It seemed hardly a month after her graduation from Tokyo U, which people seemed to think would never happen. No one thought an orphan who most taught herself would even be able to get into Todai, but she was one of the most prominent students. Yet her construction business had flourished and the Sato sisters had quickly become rich and well known.
Still, not being quite as rich as many other students, and her family with a very poor lineage, she had started at Ouran in Class C. Her grades had then carried her up a class, as she typically was in the top of her class.
She looked to the door and grinned a bit to herself. "Lonely, huh?" she asked quietly.

Outani could feel her sanity slowly slip away as the techer lectured on. She had run out of ink in her pen and could no longer sketch or doodle to occupy herself. Nope, she was stuck quietly pounding her head on the desk in the middle of Math class B. Normally she had books to read, books upon books stored away in her backpack ready when needed but today she had forgotten her backpack when running to the academy. "And on the day of review," She grumbled under her breath. She spotted a girl a little ways over sketching and Outani groanded. Lucky. All she could was stare at the clock begging for class to end.
