First we had to write a half page poem and label the rhyme pattern.
Quote:
Sorrow
As people walk by
She can't half but want to die
water streaks her cheeks
as days turn into weeks
is it rain or is it tears?
a question that may last through years
what does all this pain mean
why can't the rain make her clean
a man, a mask, a face
the escaping from that darkened place
pitch black clouds cover the night
the darkness in her heart blocks the light
what's the the way to make her pain end?
to stop the heart she cannot mend
what could she have meant to you, to me
one person we didn't bother to see
we could have acted, but decided to wait
and now she's gone, it's far too late.

Here are my Haiku.
Quote:
Shadows
Following, shading
Do they show the honest you
or represent lies
Snow
The cold is pressing
Small crystals drifting downward
the snow covers all
Following, shading
Do they show the honest you
or represent lies
Snow
The cold is pressing
Small crystals drifting downward
the snow covers all
