Hm...I kind of want to suggest bumping the land-count up a little; yeah, you won't need much to get it going, but the fact remains that mana screw is mana screw. I'd reccoment bumping it to 20 - 21. Also, while Countryside Crusher is exceptionally brutal after several turns, Shard Volley sort of clashes with it. Maybe I'm wrong, it just feels like I'd be reluctant to use it with the Crusher in play- keep the crusher, but find a replacement for the shard volley, please?
I'm not 100% sure of what more to put in the deck, though. Ashenmoor Liege? Demigod of Revenge? Spiteful Visions for card draw? Boartusk Liege? Deus of Calamity? It's up to you- for me, I intend to make a Green-Red deck, which is likely to cut out Ashmoor Gouger and maybe Blood Knight for me, yet adding other effective green cards. *CoughTarmogoyfCough* =x
I'd thought about some of those cards, but most of them are too top heavy. Spiteful visions is still a thought especially with that new blue/red bird control deck that draws retarded number of cards.
With the shard volleys and crusher together, I generally drop the crusher with four lands and then you just hold any volleys until the last until you kill them with it. I was originally running 4 shard volleys and 3 shocks but i switched it around when i saw it was coming at me to often.
Once again though, the crushers just make the deck go turbo because you draw threats every turn and have a beat stick they have to deal with or die, much like every other creature in the deck.
if I was going to play red green though, i would play red green. This is trying to be the fast deck that gets in before the mid range and control and just ******** them up.
