Hey guys. smile This here's my request thread for art. I love you all who are wonderful and stupendous enough to help me out here, and hopefully it's fun for you also.
Since I'm very aware that donating art to someone is something that is VERY time/energy/effort consuming, I'm trying to think up ways to pay you guys back. I'm not very good at drawing myself, (hence this thread) and although I AM a beast at Photoshop picture manipulations, I've been weaning myself away from those for a while (and plus, I doubt you'd want to send pictures of yourself to a complete stranger. What if I'm a superrr sketchy stalker dude in real life? XD). As for payment, I quite frankly have *glances upward to little tab* 944 gold at the moment. So, unfortunately, not much there to go with. However, once I think of something, I'll be sure to come back and edit this thing. =)




I'm currently looking for a talented artist (or a few XD) to help me spruce up a character I have. She's relatively new, so I don't have any images of her yet, however I do have a few reference points and such to help you along.

Imagine that she looks like Chai Xianghua from the Soul Calibur video game(omfg, geeky and cheesy and dorky example I knowww X.X) :

With darker, longer hair, lighter eyes, and a transparent veil across the bottom of her face. It's the clothing and weapon costume combo concept that I really like about Xianghua, and I thought I would use it for this character, as well.

If you are amazingly nice and extremely bored and decide to help me, I won't ask you to color the art for me, because I feel like that's overkill when I'm already asking so much. A simple, elegant sketch would be wonderful.
