This was written by a friend and I about two years ago. And yes, I am aware these two poems need major editing and revising. My friend and I wrote these when we got board on IM one day.
"Together Finaly"
Walking threw a quiet land, no one watches,
Everyone is silent.
They see each other, their lips part to speak,
No sound escapes, they are silent like the trees...
She wishes to say whats been on her mind,
It cannot be said for a life time in
Eternity he must spend.
Never to speak, never to be seen.
He is alone, silent he walks.
Born to find a life he silently stalks in
Search of the sound that will break
Him from these chains.
A journey of imprisonment
In a cold lifeless world
Never to find the one who could
Change her final resting place.
Lost in the maze of time, a picture dropped
From a wallet. He walks alone.
Hoping to find the one who will
Be his freedom.
As the clock of time ticks, It makes less sense.
She sees something in the distance, a light? Another kin soul?
Alone for so long, life is just a mirage, a memory
And an idea of something that he will never find.
Reaching out, she feels nothing, hears nothing, and
Falls to her knees as she is not even noticed.
The sound of a breaking leaf, an exhale of sadness,
The glimpse of another...
Looking up to see his approach, the girl
Smiles softly, a tear warms her face.
Reaching out to touch the warmth of another, he pauses,
Its a lie, its a dream. Something that he was never
To find. She shouldn't exist.
Warmth from another, a memory from long days ago.
Shock in her eyes as disbelief tore thoughts apart.
Fighting what he thought, he pushed his hand to her cheek,
The dampness of a tear against his thumb,
As he whipped it away...
Warmth seemed to grow deeper within her body as
She found one much like herself, alone, speechless,
Unseen...
Helping her to her feet, his dream of life stood before him,
Parting his lips he searched for words.
Regaining her footing, speech echoed in her ears,
A sound to soon forgotten. Life would soon start over,
This time spending eternity with another.
"You" he whispered as he looked at the one he had been
Longing to find. A mysterious girl, one that would steel his breath.
She whispered back "yes", happy to have found the one
Who would steel her heart.
Taking her hand in his he looked to the path he had
walked, the path of solitude. Before them was a path,
In new light, a path to take together, a walk for the better...

"A Long Goodbye Of Love"
From happy to sad,
My anger for yo untwists,
You don't understand the love I have missed.
As the days go on,
My thoughts fog over.
Already you have found another lover.
What about all those times,
Where you sang your stupid rhyme,
But your voice, helped me through
All the anger I had about you.
Words and motions filled with nothing at all.
All your talk filled with lies and deception,
Were always this cold?
Cold or not, the love I sought
Was always in your arms.
Now they are closed,
And I alone in the mist of harm...
Wrapped in your arms, alone I became.
Was I really alone? Once escaped,
I was stripped of my soul.
Part of me seemed to die, left you without a
Goodbye. Alone I sat for days
On end, wishing my world would end.
Time seemed to slow, almost to a halt.
Life had no meaning,
Without you in it to hold, kiss, cares...
But I guess it was my fault, no last words,
No more "I Love You"'s.
I know I shouldn't feel this way...
But I got to say that I just cant get it right.
I never thought that we'd go wrong,
But the feelings gone, and I have to remain strong.
Every day seems like a life time without you,
But every time I kiss the one I'm with,
Your soft touch is all I feel.
Every picture I see, you and me,
Memories of you continue to haunt my dreams...
I know I left you, but why did you leave me?
Leaving you like I did was the
Hardest thing I've ever done.
I spent every waking moment
Thinking of what went wrong.
Running through my dumb ideas,
How could I have handled us,
Rather than break us up...?
