GUESS WHAT! I WAS PLAYING ON FFXI ON PC AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN ONE OF THOSE ANNOYING GET RID OF SPYWARE NOW POP-UPS...POPPED UP.I WAS GETTING ANNOYED AND SO I CLICKED IT AND IT DESTROYED ALL INFECTED FILES......INUCLUDING...FFXI... crying crying crying crying

I think you should still have your Content ID..Maybe if you reinstall iyou can just play off from your purchased Content ID...

yusyus, I even installed it on my new compy & I still had my old chara, it shouldn't be too bad. :3 But I'ma run a virus scan now. o__o.

for future reference, as long as you pay for your character (and 3 months after you stop) their data is saved on the server...which means your computer can die, you can reinstall it on another machine, and it will still be there.

Woah! O_O that happened to my brother once and he had not even saved one piece of the game, he had been playing for so many hours straight and then suddenly the computer crashed...

yeah I hate playing at my friend's house, I play on a PS2 so I dont have to worry about pop ups. ^^
