It was my dad’s birthday recently, so we went out and had a family meal. But while I was there, my mum told me a story from my youth. Basically the story goes, my mum goes in to see my teacher, so they can tell her I’m illiterate. Then a week later they have her back in because I have been writing notes to other people in my class, very nasty ones. But my mum quickly noticed the spelling and grammar in these notes where far beyond my illiterate four year old self and she goes ape at them.
So basically I got way with it because I couldn’t read or write. I can’t remember if I did or didn’t do it but if I did I got away with it.
