Same here. Plus, we spent weeks on it in Comparative Government. Question time is amazing!

If there's a Jewish Gaians Guild, there must be a British guild out there. Why not go there and ask around?

traffic light = Traffic light (reference Monty Python's I Like Traffic Lights)
portable stereo = boom box, stereo, transistor radio, cassette deck
tub = tub, basin, bath (Mind you, bathrooms are called toilets or water closets)
car = Car (refrence UK Subs I live in a car)
subway = Underground or Tube
british slang
Slag = Slut
Wanker = A jerk off, same as Tosser
Bollocks = Bull Sh*t or Testicles, depending on the context
That report you handed in was complete bollocks That girl kicked him right in the bollocks
Sod = Fool, or idiot. Sex Pistols used the term a lot in their music. Johnny Rotten often referred to himself as a Lazy Sod.
I suggest you watch some british movies for more lingo and slang.

lol i watch a series, but i don't really notice the slang. Oh well I just need to try harder to have my attention span last longer than three minutes.

Turn on BBC randomly or watch some Monty Python. I prefer Doctor Who myself. Even if you don't learn anything, they have the coolest accents in the world.
