Since I'm entering a new grade (therefore moving on to a new school), this concert is going to be quite hard. The last spring concerts I'm performing in my school! I'm going to miss it, especially my music department. They're my favorite teachers. ^_^
Here's what I'll be doing:
Select Chorus: "The Journey", "Hush! Somebody's Callin' My Name", and another song TBA

Concert Chorus: "Shenandoah", "Wade in the Water" (I'll be on piano for that one), more songs TBA

Jazz Band: Blue Bossa, other songs TBA

Concert Band: Nemesis, Highlights from Fiddler on the Roof, Barnum and Bailey's Favorites, Plaza de Toros, Crazy Train

personally, my last concerts have never been really that difficult.
they're usually more pieces that are fun to play and we can fool around with without being graded.
I think the hardest piece we did for an ending was Divertimento for Winds and Percussion, followed by Rocky Mountain Holiday, which in itself wasn't that hard. Divertimento was deliciously difficult, though, even as we managed to tough it out for the entire four movements.

Unfortunately, I'm too busy with the rest of my college band repertoire to be able to take band this semester, but I have a friend who just did a couple movie themes in his band for a final concert

For me, they're never hard...

BTW, I'm not sure about the final concert, But my orchestra is playing in a festival. We're playing Dark Catacombs, mabey(sp?) Knight's Quest, Concerto Grosso, and Russian Sailor's Dance.

LAst concert of the year for us is the "pops" concert. The music is always stuff that everyone knows, but it's really hard. Well, hard to everyone else. I like it. It's the only time durring the year when I actually have to work a little. Except nobody else does. It's retarded. 'Cause, you know, god forbid the flutes actually play a stagger-breathing 20 count note and learn our part in cut time like the music says.

We're playing:
Eighties Flashback- http://www.halleonard.com/item_detail.jsp?itemid=4001064&order=0&catcode=00&refer=search&type=product&keywords=eighties+flashback+
A Disney spactacular
Music from King Kong- http://www.halleonard.com/item_detail.jsp?itemid=8725090&order=7&catcode=00&refer=search&type=product&keywords=king+kong+
Phantom of the Opera- http://www.halleonard.com/item_detail.jsp?itemid=4044005&order=34&type=product&keywords=phantom+of+the+opera+&catcode=00&refer=search

For our concert, we played:

1. Pandora
2. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings
3. Heaven's Light
4. Sun Dance
5. Gathering of the Ranks at Hebron

I'm not sure about 1/2, but a recording for 4 is at manhattanbeachmusic.com. I can't remember 3/5 because I had to use google. They're out there somewhere, though.

Our last concert was the band I was in (symphonic), concert, and orchestra. It was also more entertaining music, for the most part. Someone put most of it on YouTube, so I actually have links (quality's a bit suckage, though).

In order:
"Carmina Burama" http://youtube.com/watch?v=jxYIMRhvmnw
"King Kong: Soundtrack Highlights" http://youtube.com/watch?v=9BA_OYuOa3c&feature=related
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" http://youtube.com/watch?v=p392fenwj4k&feature=related
"Blue Samba" (This was first period percussion class, which sucked except for mallets. I'd rather not post it.)
"Queen In Concert" http://youtube.com/watch?v=K_CCHBDnt8U&feature=related
"John Williams: Movie Adventures" http://youtube.com/watch?v=fpBBYbnHxA8&feature=related
"Masters of the Silent Screen"
"Somewhere in Time"
"Pirates of the Caribbean" http://youtube.com/watch?v=9M8yMVmtXzc&feature=related
Encore: "Dixieland Struttin'" (I'm the tuba in the FRONT. Go me.) http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZoE2mWCgIvM
