We had an earthquake this morning! At 4:39AM there was a 5.2 and then at 10:14 there was a 4.5 aftershock.

Apparently people as far south as Florida, and as far North as southern Ontario (CANADA) felt it.

I was over at my boyfriend's house and we woke up and thought that a really strong wind had gone by (with out hearing it). Nothing fell. Then I got a message on my phone from Mar who went, "EARTHQUAKE." My parents just slept right through the first one.

Back at home this morning during the aftershock my Mom and I didn't even feel it, but Dad called from work saying that some people downtown at work felt it. Mar texted me and said, "lol people started laughing and teacher was like what's going on." and added that CDs fell on Toria.

WE MADE YAHOO FRONT PAGE! WIN!

So despite some brick houses having great big cracks in them and such other madness, Mar, Toria, and I are foine.

The CD's didn't fall on me. They fell off my book shelf. Some stuff I had sitting on the coffee table and chair fell down too. The earthquake was pretty bad where I was (possibly from being upstairs) and I was afraid the house would come down.

Earthquakes suck, but Texas didn't feel anything! =D

LOL. When I first felt it I thought my Dad's wife was running down the hall. Of course, the shaking was worse than just a person running down the hall, but I bet a bigger than average person could bring down the house if he or she ran fast and hard enough.
