Starlight blossoms in the skies,
As the golden sunlight fades.
And the shimmering bird flies,
Past the many cascades.

Bright fire-like feline eyes,
Watches the floating stars.
The feline nostalgically sighs,
Images of the past like helpful scars.

The moon's bright arc,
Luminates the dark forest.
The landscape once stark,
But now abundant with life.

Feline eyes traced the land,
Over mountains and hills,
Full of those willing to give a helping hand,
And exciting thrills.

A mesmorizing place,
Is home to many.
Each with a different face,
And all with a different history.

Hopefully all will become one,
Every being will be happy.
Not a single being shunned.
All will be together.

The wishes of all,
Form a single wish.
That isn't allowed to fall
Or crumble.

Peace is desired
By these beings
And no one higher
Can bring it.

Yeah, so I don't consider myself good at poetry, like, at all. This is just random thoughts put together because I have an English presentation about poetry, and I need something about an idea, feeling, or place to do the poem on and have enough will to speak about my reasoning in class for my three minute speech.
*is so scared*
I can't get in front of people. Good thing my English class is tiny (about twelve or so students).
