Does anyone know of any good sites that offer free doll dress patterns for an 18 inch doll? That's the standard size for the American Girl dolls.

I found this site, but I don't care for any of their patterns. I'm actually looking for more of a princess dress. My friend collects 18 inch dolls and her Birthday is coming up so I thought as a nice surprise instead of buying her something I would make her a really unique and beautiful dress. I was actually considering mocking off of one of the dresses in Enchanted as that's one of our favorite movies. However I prefer to work with patterns and if I could find one it would be great. I've looked, but none of the sites really have any for long dresses or ones that aren't very similar to all the ones on that site.

If you tend to make a lot of doll clothes (or think you may want to) I suggest keeping an eye out at rummage/yard sales
I usually find mine at ones in churches (where all the members bring an assortment of stuff to sell) I end up getting patterns (of all sorts, usually OLD ones that I modify) for anywhere from free to a dime, which is SOOO much better than the list price of 9 dollars on a newly purchased pattern.
