My bassist friend [Foxfire 7-String] says that "Guitar Pro kicks it's a**". I don't know how true it is because I haven't tried either.

And, he downloaded that. It's usually 20 bucks.

I can assure you that guitar Pro is Two Million times better than Power tabs.

Guitar pro does cost money but you can (ahem..) pirate it illgeally if you really want it and dont want to pay.

It has so many more benefits , trust me.. It can decrease/increase speeds for training, you can play along with drums bass guitar and hundreds of other instruments. You can easily make your own files, there is a much wider range of songs to download.

Get the free trial and you will see what I mean.

It is kick a**, that's all I ever use, unless I can't find a song for it, then I just look up tabs.

I use guitar pro, powertabs, and a program that allows you to make midis by stepediting of your keyboard called Cubase SE I love making my own tabs so I use what ever if I have a riff I want on the comp with cubase i can plug my bass in and get it that way.

it would be cool if this had drums to play also it does have that synth drom but it sucks
