I don't know about anybody else, but I've gotten my games in some pretty weird/unexpected ways. Shows how determined I am to get my HM. wink
BtN: My brother rented it once. We couldn't buy it where I live, because it wasn't really popular here, so when my mom went away she bought it for us. My very first HM game.
FoMT: My brother's best friend came over one day, and he said he had something for me. I was weirded out, because I thought he hated me. He then handed me a copy of FoMT. He found it on the side of the road walking home from school, and knew that I liked HM so he picked it up and brought it over.
HM AWL: My aunt and uncle knew I liked HM, and that I didn't have that one yet. They had recently won the lottery, so they bought it, and showed up at my house with it.
HM MM: I rented it once, and became addicted. It was always sold out when I had the money for it, so my parents just kept renting it for me. One night, the same aunt and uncle who bought me AWL were out, and they found it in stock. They asked for the game, and held on to it so my dad could go and buy it for me.
The rest of my games I bought normally. So do any of you guys have any stories about how you managed to get your games?
