This bustling town's port sees ships coming and going at all hours of the day, and is frequently busy even at night with sailors getting drunk at the seashore pubs, and various merchants of night time persuasion selling their wares after hours. During the day, more reputable businesses take place, and the smell of alcohol and fish mingles with the sounds of shipwright construction and the hauling of supplies.

Enterprising adventurers often use the services of local fishermen and privateers to reach the barrier islands a ways off coast. Not everyone is willing to go there, however, as the waters surrounding them are often infested with sea monsters, and the islands themselves aren't much better.

Security here is probably worse than anywhere in the city. However, that isn't to say it's completely dangerous, either; ship captains are quite territorial and militant. However, there is a large number of pirate vessels that come through the area, though they tend to leave the residents alone, knowing aggression on their part would quickly lead to violent response from the town's many militant inhabitants. Despite that, only a fool would walk with their money in the open.
