I'm agreeing to the whole hospitality thing. and in this case, I think the hospitality feeling was heightened, seeing as the visitors were angels from the Lord. Though the whole inferior women thing could be a part of it. . .

If you weren't such a philosophical skeptic, you could almost be an academic, mind like yours.

I went through a period of philosophical skepticism after I watched The Matrix for the first time. Reading up on Ancient Greek philosophy about metaphysics didn't help either. Then I got into existentialism and stressed myself into hysterics.

Were you kept back or something? My cousin, she was kept back for like, four years, but she's a gymnast, so she's pretty small, and everyone keeps thinking she's younger than she is...

I thought I was going to be expelled once. Ironic, since nowadays, I'm a model student. The word that the school counsellor used for me was "ungovernable" (by which she meant getting into fights, contradicting my superiors, etc.). Also, she suspected that I had a "narcissistic disorder" and that I was "single-minded to the point of near-self-destructive recklessness". I considered her to be a quack spouting psychobabble.

Anyways, the incident that won me a suspension was when this guy kept giving me a hard time and had been doing so for some weeks, so I jumped him in the parking lot and kicked his balls up between his ears before throwing the contents of my backpack at him.

Needless to say, the principal was unamused. Neither were my parents. I was sent to the counsellor, too, but all I got was a one-week suspension which I spent eating ice cream and watching my Buffy DVDs.

Nowadays, if people disrespect me, I write stern and commanding letters to my year level coordinator, which usually sees justice done. It's so awesome; by the sheer weight of my words, I can spur people into action. Remind me to post a copy of one of my letters here sometime.
