Area Information.
- Approximatley 6000 feet tall.
- Over half of it is shrouded in thick clouds; so watch your step!
- Plenty of resources for a Volcano Elementalist

Brushing a fine line a of soot-ridden sweat from her forehead, the Thunder Mistress stood nearing the peak of the Volcano, arms folded neatly at her back while her feet shuffled in their places, trying to shake of the uneasiness this area gave her. Lightning was dangerous, but lava? Incredibly unstable; hopefully this candidate had great control over the terrain. A fresh stream of lava broke through the crust and poured inches away from Rai's left foot, causing her to squeal and take a few hasty steps back.

Noticing the woman closing in on her location, the red-head straightened up and dragged her goggles over her eyes, fixing her balled fist on her hips before flashing a quick grin. "I've been waiting ages! Did you get lost? Ah, who cares! That ain't why we're here! Show me what you can do!" Another grin before spreading her feet out a little and lowering herself into a defensive stance.

She slowly stepped up the Thunder mistress and flipped her black hair out of her eyes, the red streaks glowing in the bright light of the magma. The whole place was welcoming to her, and she almost felt sorry for her opponent. The volcano element was deadly, yet amasingly graceful. So was she ready to fight this mistress? She hoped so.

"Alright. Let's start!" The earth trembled under her feet as she dug her bare toes into the dirt. Cracks split between their legs, and she could feel the heated pressure of her element on her skin. It was only a matter of time before the volcano would erupt. Her left foot lifted, and she swung forward with her leg. Her whole body took flight while the ground benieth her erupted into a wall of magma that almost instantly dried. She landed gracefully ontop of her newly made wall. Similar walls began to appear randomly throughout the area, and a smile split her face. Jumping off of the wall with all of her might, she grabbed the dagger from it's sheath and aimed an attack at her opponent's shoulder. It wasn't nothing too big. Why not have fun during this fight? Wasn't this just another way to improve? Landing on the ground, she kicked out at her opponent's legs, hoping to knock her off balance. Then she spotted the magma next to her and smiled.

Already Raiana was feeling anxious. Whether it was the surroundings, unchallenged element or the freaky grin on the woman she was facing, she could not tell. Maybe choosing a terrain where her opponent was clearly at an advantage was probably a bad choice? No! A Master must be at their best even if the odds are swaying towards the foe! And there was always the fact that.. Wait, what was her name?

The Thunder Lass watched as the magma walls appeared in random places, casting eerie shadows across the dimly lit volcano faces. Biting her bottom lip and chewing it gingerly, Rai blinked innocently as the Volcano user leapt from her place, hoping to thrust a dagger through her shoulder. "Tsk." Her fist was thrust forward, colliding with the dagger with a small 'c***k' before the woman landed neatly, quickly throwing her foot at Rai's legs. Having metal fingered gloves was useful, especially against blades.

Now to deal with that petty excuse for a kick. A swift jump backwards simply allowed the attacking foot to brush past her jeans, causing a brief grin to curve the woman's lips. Stepping forward and placing her left leg where it was once before, Rai spun on one leg and swung her own boot at her opponents head, the steel at the sole crackling with a sudden dose of electricity.

The pounding rush of fighting spred throughout her body like a poison. She could feel it pulsing through her, fueling an inner flame hotter than the magma she controled. Looking up, she squealed in surprise as she saw the boot headed right toward her head. In order to protect her self, she sent up a wall of maga several inches to deflect the attack, and as her opponent smashed into the wall, pieces of broken rock fell over her. 'Great,' she thought to herself as she flipped backwards, landing on her feet. 'This is definitely not just fun. You have to do better than this.'

Sol's breathing began to slow as she breathed in deeply. She was in this to win, to prove herself. How dare she think it was just a game. "I do believe I should introduce myself," Sol calmly stated as she threw her dagger stright into the magma, the steel of the blade melting. "My name is Sol, and I plan on beating you!" She smiled and noded as shards of magma formed into black pieces of sharpened glass on the ground around them. With a quick thrust to the side, she rolled around of the ground, picking up each shard on her way and throwing them seemingly all at once at her opponent's open flank. Then, without stopping, she threw herself into the magma. Her barefeet was emersed in the hot substance, but it didn't burn her. Grabbing the hilt of her old dagger, she withdrew a finely crafted sword of hot molten lava from the ground. Unlike a normal blade, the lava could dispearse and repare as she willed. The volcano rumbled under her as she stood in a defensive position, ready for her opponent's next move.

Raiana grinned sheepishly at Sol's introduction, hopping back a few steps after her foot collided heavily with the sudden dried magma wall. Still standing on one foot, the thunder lass squinted slightly as the crystallized stones were launched in her direction, gathering up as much electrical energy she could in the time given to her. "Well, Sol, I'm Rai and I don't plan on letting you!" The Thunder Mistress yelled, her charged foot suddenly flaring forwards in a flurry of furious kicks.

Say that ten times quickly without screwing up.

All but one of the stones were kicked into dust, the remains falling aimlessly to the rocky, and slightly rumbling ground below. Was this volcano going to blow? God damnit. Next time, someone with a little more sense was going to pick the map. The remaining stone had somehow wedged itself through the metal and embedded itself in the bottom of her foot. Ouch. Leaning forward slightly and plucking the temporary pain source, Rai lifted her hand and quickly snapped her hand closed, crushing the rock instantly. "You need to do a little better. Rai smash tiny rocks!" The lightning user stomped her foot down and randomly pumped her arms, making a feeble attempt of impersonating the Hulk.

Niceties over and done with, Raiana thought it was time to live up to her title; A Thunder Master. If this girl wanted to be a Master as well, she had to be able to fight at a Master level. Clapping her hands together once, the woman's hands began to crackle furiously as she rubbed them together, slowly pulling them apart as her emerald eyes stayed fixed on her opponent. Without so much as a warning, Rai threw herself in the air at an alarming height, swinging her arms from left to right as large sized bolts of electricity rained down upon the victim below.

So the battle had really started. It was about time she got something worth standing up to. Jumping back, she raised her arms into the arm, the magma from the ground raising into the air and began swirling around her at an alarming speed, creating a protective orb. Controling every precise momement with the flick of her wrists, she sent hot lava flaring into the sky to deflect the thunder that was raining down on her head. Sol relaxed alittle; if any other of the thunder got past her magma, it would only hit the lava that surrounded her. Suddenly she jurked as a shock ran through her body, and her arm went limp and numb. Cursing softly, she saw she had let a part of her defenses down, and the thunder had actually made it through her defene's only weak spot. When the thunder began to slaken, Sol hardened the magma around her into a thick shell.

Praying to the lord, Sol attempted a move she had never attempted before, and hoped that nothing would go wrong in the attempt. Kneeling, she slammed her hands into the ground, sending a pulsation into the volcano. The volcano rumbled back. Then without warning her hands began to disolve into magma, and the rest of her bod quickly followed. "Holy mushrooms...." she whispered as she became just a liquid, and flowed out of the orb through the back where her opponent couldn't see her.

Then, in an attempt to catch her opponent of guard, she forced all of her energy in making the volcano erupt so that she could easily surprise her opponent with an attack. The volcano rumbled, this time louder than the times before. The ground began to shake in tremors that could catch anyone unaware and throw them off balance. Magma shot out of the top of the huge mountain, and it began to seep out through cracks in the volcano's sides.

Where did she go? Blinking innocently, Rai placed a hand to the back of her ruby locks and glanced around the area, obviously not spotting Sol's little lava morphing trick while she was throwing lightning all over the place. Well, this was annoying. She could not throw any punches at someone that was not there! Invisible people, sure, not hiding though. Huffing loudly to herself, the thunder mistress patted a little soot from her short before being thrown off balance by the tremors, arms flailing randomly to keep her on her feet.

"That's cheating!" She yelled to the area, annoyed that she could not see her opponent. She could most definitely feel her, but Rai preferred to see the person she was going to smash the face of. Might as well get something prepared. Better yet! If Sol was going to test out a un-tested technique on Rai, might as well try a similar one out on her in return. Shuffling her feet apart from each other, placing one hand on her right cheek while the other was clenched near her stomach, electrons in the air surrounding the area clustering and forcing themselves in Rai's flesh. If Sol could become her element, why could Rai not become hers? This would certainly be interesting.
