She'd do anything to sparkle in his eye
She would suffer, she would fight, and compromise
She's been wishin' on the stars that shine so bright
For answers to the questions that will haunt her tonight
She must rinse this all awayShe can't hold him this way
She must rinse this all away She can't love him this way
"Mmm been rather slow lately..."
Isabella had been in her private office in the Mercenaries Guild. Hand full of papers, she sat with her chair leaned against the wall and her feet crossed on top of her freshly cleaned desk. In Isabella's eyes, order and tidiness where top priority...so it wasn't a shock that she had just spent the morning scrubbing her office from top to bottom.
Only after she had felt satisfied with her cleaning job had she sat down and looked at the surprisingly small stack of requests. Shaking her head dubiously, she pushed her golden hair from her eyes and exhaled slowly. Closing her too dry eyes, she put the papers back down on the sparkling surface and folded her hands on top of her armored torso.
Slipping her legs off of her desk, she stood up and stretched. Licking her lips and rolling her eyes, she walked briskly to her door and flicked off the light on her way out. Exhaling as she walked down the eerily silent corridors, she exited via the front door. Steeping into the warm sunlight, she shielded her eyes until her vision adjusted to the new brightness.
Pursing her lips, she exhaled and walked down the street. Pausing in front of her usual tavern, she shook her head and passed it by. For some reaon she was in no mood to drink. Instead, she walked mindlessly into the throngs of people - mind consumed by the steep decline of business.
How she'd be soothe, how she'd be saved if he could see
She needs to beheld, in his arms to be free
But everything happens for reasons that she will never understand
Till she knows the heart of a woman will never be found in thearms of a man
